Gabbard & Kennedy Share Trump’s Plan to Reclaim America with Nevada Voters
Discussion on Key Issues Moderated by NASCAR Legend Danica Patrick
Las Vegas, NV — President Donald J. Trump’s transition team co-chairs Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. hosted a special event with Nevada voters on Saturday to discuss Trump’s plan to address serious issues facing local residents and the nation. The conversation was moderated by NASCAR legend Danica Patrick with a Las Vegas audience at maximum capacity along Team Trump’s Reclaim America Tour.
Gabbard and Kennedy shared how the Democratic Party they joined decades ago is no more and what led them to endorsing President Trump. “The fact that President Trump is welcoming people like Bobby Kennedy and myself, and so many others from across all party lines, shows us what kind of administration he will have and what kind of leadership he will bring,” said former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, now an Independent. “It is inclusive. It is welcoming. And it is centered around those who love America.”
Gabbard and Kennedy spoke on President Trump’s plan and proposed policies for a commonsense economy (Clip 1) to address the country’s sky-high cost of living, the price of groceries, gasoline, housing, and childcare – all of which were substantially lower while Trump served as president. They also covered his plan to stop taxing tips, support small businesses, and bring relief to working-class Americans who are struggling under the current economic climate.
Gabbard and Kennedy explained how under President Trump, the United States had no new wars, but over the past three years, the country has seen great unrest with the invasion of Ukraine, wars in the Middle East, and the terrorist actions of Hamas – with no end in sight under Vice President Kamala Harris. Gabbard then shared how she was recently put on a secret domestic terrorist watchlist as political retaliation for stating that Kamala Harris is dangerously unfit to serve as commander in chief (Clip 2).
“It’s not only meant to bully and intimidate people like me,” said Tulsi Gabbard, “but the bigger effect is that it sends a chilling message to anyone who is paying attention, ‘If you speak out against us, if you challenge our power and our policies – and our greed and ambition for more power – then you too will be punished.’ What do we do about this? Keep speaking up. And speaking loudly. We defend our right to free speech by using our right to free speech.”
After energizing voters in Arizona and Nevada, Team Trump’s Reclaim America Tour featuring Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby Kennedy goes east to Michigan this weekend and then to Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – with more events to be announced.
