I think a party that stands for common sense, family, faith, fiscal responsibility and the constitution could pull in a huge number of disenfranchised Democrats. I support Tulsi because she clearly loves this country and is not afraid to speak the truth. I also love Ron DeSantis and Rand Paul for the same reason.

Without a doubt, the best post I've read here on Substack. Tulsi lays out her case with devastating precision as to why she's leaving the Democrat party. Frankly, I'm surprised she lasted as long as she did. I wish her the best of luck--she's a woman of integrity and courage, a rare combination in politicians these days!

Great choice Tulsi. The Democrat Party left you and humanity long ago.

Can you disclose here on Substack why you were a Young Global Leader of bath haus bond villain Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum and was that a prerequisite to being a candidate in 2020?

This is not a request to take a purity test, though you'd go a long way in dispelling rumors and rehabilitating your reputation if you were open about that program, its agenda, and what your thoughts on it are today. Namaste.

I was never a member of WEF and had nothing to do with them. They put my picture up on their website without asking or informing me. They’ve done it to others too. That’s it.

So why did you thank them for selecting you? Why haven't you sued them for using your likeness without your legal authorization?

Also, please explain your guru Chris Butler.

Please explain your voting record of anti-second amendment, pro-abortion, pro-open borders, pro-lgbtq+, pro-universal healthcare.

You say you're not a WEF member but your voting record is that of a globalist. Why should we believe this "coming out" is nothing more than someone jumping from a sinking ship? Why should we ignore your voting record and think you're not just running as an independent to siphon votes from independents who would otherwise vote for a Republican.

You have to be transparent about these things.

Tulsi, there is absolutely nothing wrong with saying that it seemed like the right thing to do at the time - the world of today would be totally unrecognisable to someone in 2015 who was able to look ahead! The longer you are in denial, the worse it looks.

Thanks for setting the record straight Tulsi. This was a concern for me and your reply just strengthens by own view that this is an organisation that can bring nothing but bad things to the world. Politicians everywhere should actively distance themselves from the WEF, and those who don't, we should doubt their motivation.

I’ve looked at the list of others who went through this program and saw many surprises. A couple thoughts—maybe in the early 2000s people didn’t know enough about Dr Strangelove Schwab, or it’s a good way to know your enemy. And networking too. Just because you went doesn’t mean you walked away drinking the koolaid.

Still, she oughtn't have denied it. This is puzzlingly disappointing. I've long admired Tulsi for her independent thought. The Founders envisioned dialogue and compromise, not the sausage factory we have had up and running for the past 125 years or so. Not everyone gets their way, everybody gets something, and we don't balloon the debt while we do it. I always thought that this may be a way of understanding the direction that Tulsi might have us go. Reading this lengthy excoriation of the sins and failures of the modern Democratic Party, I was actually stirred. This was shatteringly honest. But then, to see the denial, and then to see the record of her thanking WEF for the experience, and the silence since... Tulsi, this will follow you, whether you make it right or not, and it will matter to the vast middle of the electorate that you would see motivated to join your movement. Make it right, then. Spell it out. Apologize. And don't repeat the performance. You will be forever castigated by the so-called Progressive Left anyway, so don't let that impede you from doing the right thing. You can make this right. Please do so. Kindest thoughts always...

I have been a life long republican because I believe in family values, religious freedom, financial freedom and independent thought and uncensored public respectful discourse even if I don’t agree with the other viewpoint. I have been disappointed in the establishment GOP for a long time. I have excited for the pro-America agenda of Trump and DeSantis.

Congresswoman Gabbard brought to the national stage common sense liberalism and I supported her candidacy for President. We need leaders like Tulsi - brave, real-world experienced, realistic and PRO family, PRO Constitution, PRO American ideals of liberty, prosperity and happiness with limited government. Tulsi, I believe in you and your battle for a better, more responsible, more limited-government United States. I want to fight with you! Thank you for your civil and military service to our country. You don't know if she was well informed on the things she voted for? Do you realize what you're saying? You're saying that it's possible that Tulsi was an incompetent Congresswoman who didn't know what she was voting for.!! Good lord!

The bottom line is that a sitting member of Congress is privy to a ton of information that us regular folks are not privy to. And if us normal folks can "figure out" right from wrong, good from bad, without the privilege of that confidential information, why does someone who was a member of Congress and had access to information that we didn't, take so long to "figure it out"?

And why does it conveniently come at a time when the Democrat party is going to suffer massive defeats?

I saw this coming. I am surprised you lasted this long with the way the Democratic Party treated you, Tulsi.

I left the party in 2016 after I saw what they did to Bernie and all of his supporters at primaries and caucuses around the country. I was a precinct delegate for Bernie and then donated to many of his delegates to the national convention. I saw video recordings from delegates and reporters showing the corruption, lies and cheating that happened to push Bernie out. I saw how google was hiding the news of the tens of thousands of people who were showing up at his rallies and how main stream media was focusing on Trump and Clinton.

Before that, I saw how Obama stood by as Syria and other countries were bombed. I also learned first hand how Obama bailed out banks and left the rest of us to lose our homes to those lying, cheating, corrupt banks. After Clinton stole the democratic nomination I began to support Jill Stein and I saw how she too was smeared by Clinton and her corrupt associates. I then supported you in 2020 and saw how again Hillary Clinton, the DNC and the corrupt corporate media smeared you.

I too was a Democrat since I was 9 years old in 1968, when I told my mom to vote for Humphrey. I am most definitely not a Republican either. I am one of the majority of independents in this country now who do not trust the current system. I listen to many voices and views. One that is intriguing to me is Whitney Webb of Unlimited Hangout who just published a book on Clintons ties with organized crime in Arkansas leading to ties with Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Gates, etc. If these kinds of things are true, we have much bigger problem on our hands...with the WEF and WHO led by a few self-serving individuals who are taking humanity down a very questionable path and not a democratic one.

Thank you for standing for integrity, truth, courage and for the best/potential of the human spirit, Tulsi and anyone else who speaks out about these things. You have my deepest respect and gratitude.

What you’ve eloquently articulated here is largely why I followed a similar path and also why I voted for you in 2020.

In my “Letter to Governor Ron DeSantis” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-governor-ron-desantis), you were the first politician I cited in the list of five I could think of who “possess a whit of integrity, rationality, and moral courage.”

The mention of your name prompted a lively discussion in the comments (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-governor-ron-desantis/comments). I strongly encourage you to read the pinned comment to get a sense of why people choose to support you and what makes them hesitate.

The #1 concern people have is that you have not loudly disavowed your connections with the WEF and the CFR. This one clarification and a strong stance against the globalists would cement you as a front runner in the handful of truth warriors brave enough to take them on. You have also been somewhat silent on COVID tyranny, which is the primary litmus test for me as well as millions of other voters.

I recently launched a new interview series titled Dissident Dialogues (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/dissident-dialogues-cj-hopkins) with CJ Hopkins, and I would be honored to interview you if you so desire. It is yet further testament to your quality of character that you would take the time to respond amidst the media maelstrom you are no doubt experiencing right now, Tulsi.

I greatly appreciate the clarification and hope you will write an article about this that can be widely read and shared as this is the primary reason people cite for distrusting you. If you do that, I recommend addressing the Young Global Leaders specifically as there are tweets floating around about your selection for that program (https://sagehana.substack.com/p/today-in-tweets-that-didnt-age-well) that will be used against you if you don’t speak to that. I have previously suggested to my readers that you, like most of us, were unaware of the WEF’s sinister motives back in 2015 and cannot be held accountable for accepting what would have appeared a prestigious honor at the time, but I don’t want to presume to speak for you.

Tulsi, the WEF has to be taken down. It doesn’t matter whether by whom or how. The reason is what they are and what they are and have been plotting since inception.

What concerns me most is the bizarre silence spanning the political aisle. I realize that many of our “ vaunted” elected officials are incredibly inept, incurious and unworthy to hold office. Many are blinded by ideological issues, others are incapable of succeeded in the real world, most are are corrupt/ complicit and in a constitutional republic with a functioning, fair system would be serving their remaining days behind bars. Of course there are the craven cowards , but very few are working for “ We The People”.

We’ve reached the precipice of the abyss and with each passing day, what once was unthinkable is now reality.Ironically, you were instrumental in my awakening. Trump set the ball rolling by campaigning on issues never brought to light in any political election.

Among the most riveting was exposing corporate inversion, currency manipulation, rigged elections, the forgotten man and woman, pay for play in detail, illegal immigration and the destruction of manufacturing and production. But his anti-intervention stance was remarkable. What grabbed my attention was how succinctly he made the case.” We are invading countries and forcing our way of life where it was unknown and unwanted. How is that supposed to work? Destroying nations, killing their people and our own and then expecting them to thank us?”.When he was asked about the Israel/ Palestinian unending conflict, his answer was shocking.” That’s a tough one”. It was met with anger and disappointment, but the following day, he held a sit down discussion and clarified in such an honest , informative manner that I was stunned.” You have to realize it is a complicated situation. One side wants to live in a peaceful modern society and has always been targeted by hatred and the treat of extinction. The other side only knows hatred. It is taught to their children , it’s ingrained and it doesn’t just go away when it has been forever doctrine. But I am going to try something different”. As a Jewish American who never met her once extended family because of that hatred, his honesty was more satisfying than any of the bullshit peddled in decades prior.

He also hammered the warmongers left and right for Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt , Syria, Ukraine, Iran, Russia, NATO , et al and the repercussions. Why the hell did we oust Mubarak who had honored a Peace Deal w/ Israel for 25 years, allowed Christians to worship and wasn’t radical? What kind of perverse decision was it to bolster the Muslim Brotherhood, guaranteeing Sharia, a full blown war with Israel and funding terrorism? To make the world more volatile? What did we gain by invading Libya? Who was Gaddafi threatening? How did that work out? We got nothing, Libya is a slave market, a terror state, a terror hub, a terror tunnel, Africa is infested with terrorism, 4 Americans are dead and we armed the terrorists. Why are we meddling in Syria? Do we even know ? And the Iran “ Deal”. We’ll hold off nuking the West for ten years and that’s supposed to be a deal?”. Thanking them as they scream Death To America, Death to Israel” burn effigies, take our Maines hostage and give Russia a backdoor agreement to sell them weapons? I would rather make peace with Russia so they wouldn’t need Iran and Syria”. He won my vote. He trashed both parties, the EU, UN and the Military Industrial Complex.

Which made me look deeper into what motivated your meeting with Assad. I found out you were spot on. Assad is a shit, but Al-Qaeda and ISIS.. far worse, we’re what we were siding with and arming. Essentially, we have trained and sided with humanity’s worst monsters. The Ukrainian CIA trained Nazis, Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Hezbollah, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Nusra, Al-Shabab, Daesh, the Ayatollah, and the most corrupt hand chosen puppet leaders. We’re the war criminals. With UK, France, UN, WEF, Bilderberg Group, BlackRock/Vanguard/StateStreet/Silcon Valley, NGOs, foreign lobbying, fake think tanks, the kleptotechno globalist bureaucracy… our leaders and those who own them should be prosecuted for Crimes against Humanity.

Can’t blame them for wanting you as one of theirs. You’re the perfect target. Bright, beautiful, measured, well modulated, broad spectrum appeal… they’re the most evil, dangerous, megalomaniacal group of elite powerful psychopaths ever to be reckoned with. However, they’ve become so emboldened that they’ve shown their hand. And still, nobody’s done a damned thing to stop them. How is this acceptable? The Pandemic, forced experimental vaccines, social engineering, eugenics, wealth confiscation, mass surveillance, microchip identification, thought control, censorship, ESG, genetic engineering, creating animal-human hybrid chimeric beings, eating bugsdepopulation, single currency, central government, sexual hybridism as behavior and repel to e control ,Climate Change hysteria as a method to induce fear and misery to control society, transhumanism,” hacking humans”,” You’ll own nothing and be happy”… This has all been stated aloud and NOBODY is doing an effing thing to stop them!

For a while I've been thinking you and Gov. DeSantis would make a great team, but that given your respective party affiliations, it would be a challenge to make such a thing workable. Not sure what your new party affiliation would be, but I hope you two can figure something out. I voted for you and would do so again in a heartbeat.

My most sincere thanks for your lifetime of dedicated service to our country, its founding principles and the world. I've long thought Tulsi didn't fit in with the democratic party and I'm glad she's taken the step forward to sever the relationship. I also don't think she fits in with the mainstream republicans, either. Could this be the birth of a third major party in this country? I can only hope.

Oh please oh please oh please. A new, viable third party — built on Truth, Reason & Common Sense — is the ONLY way to save this broken, corrupt democracy. #thirdpartytime #tulsitime

While a viable alternative to our two major parties is an appealing thought, I believe it's a pipe dream, I hate to say. The problem is, let's say such a party actually got off the ground and, oh, say 75 people were elected to any public office across the land under the banner of this 3rd party. Soon enough, in would walk Money. End of the reality of that third party being alternative, it becomes part of the Uni-Party at that point.

Expand full comment

Problem understood. What’s a better solution?

Expand full comment

I don't know for sure about the Democrats, but with the Republicans, the power is there to effectuate change, but the understanding of the problem is nebulous. If one clarifies it, then that clarity must be shared among delegates who turn out for their conventions. The delegates change the party from within. This does happen, very much so. Nebraska Republicans tossed out their chairman very unexpectedly at their most recent state convention and elected someone else. North Carolina Republicans have fought viciously among themselves over control of the party these past several decades. The problem is, the rank and file who attend the conventions, so sadly, are ignorant of these kinds of considerations. They don't know or understand that Money is in the room, and until they come to understand that and banish it, it will not change.

Since it will not change, the best that can be hoped for is that periodically parties will cleanse themselves of Money, which may work for a time, until Money puts on fresh garments and re-enters the room. Will this work? I don't know. It's never bee tried.

I wish them (third parties) well. It's rare that one succeeds to any degree at all, but that doesn't mean it will always be so. Probably the most successful was the Progressive Party, started about a hundred years ago, by Bob LaFollette up in Wisconsin, I think. They're who contributed initiative and referendum to the national playbook, and in that day they were reasonably closely aligned with the Republicans of that era. Their candidates won several elections in various parts of the country, including the South. More recently the Libertarians have been tilting at the windmill for maybe 60 years now? Unsure of when they started. Legislative seats and county boards of different things, I think is their record thus far. Whatever it was that Ross Perot was involved in, that party (can't think of its name this instant) dissolved into a set of lawsuits, is the last I ever heard about it.

So refreshing and healthy. Also unifying because the agreements are those of the utmost importance and are the greatest existential threats to our human rights in a free society. We don’t have to be lockstep in our thoughts, but we must be willing to find agreement by speaking to one another without fear of reprisal.
